Thomas Roddy
Chief Executive Officer
Thomas brings more than ten years of hospital operations experience while holding progressive leadership positions. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial / organizational psychology and a masters degree in business administration. Thomas also graduated from University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Master of Science in healthcare administration and a Master of Science in healthcare informatics.
Jeffrey Eng, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. Jeffrey Eng is a native of New York and moved to Montgomery in 1998 to become the director of traumatic brain injury at HealthSouth. He has held the medical director position since 2001. Dr. Eng completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. He also completed an internal medicine internship at Staten Island University Hospital. Dr. Eng is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Jeffery Eng, M.D. is an independent private practice physician whose office is located at the hospital.
John Collins
Director of Plant Operations
John has over 35 years of maintenance experience. He served over twenty years in the United States Air Force. He has been in healthcare for the past 15 years. He has worked 10 of those years serving as a facility manager or director of plant operations. He also oversees security and is the safety officer at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Montgomery. He is a member of the Alabama Society for Healthcare Engineers and is a certified healthcare engineer. John has a degree in political science from St. Leo University , an associate's degree in electrical power distribution from the Community College of the Air Force and an associate's degree in electrical technology from John Patterson Technical College.
Kim Headley
Director of Marketing Operations
Kim has been employed at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Montgomery since 1989. She received a degree in biology from Tuskegee University and later attended Troy State University's School of Nursing to become a registered nurse. Kim has worked in various positions during her tenure at the hospital but has found that nursing is her passion.
Kim McDaniel
Director of Human Resources
Kim joined the HealthSouth Montgomery team in 2007 with more than 15 years of experience in human resources management. She oversees all areas of human resources, such as recruitment and retention. Kim graduated from Auburn University Montgomery with a bachelor’s degree in human resources.
Sharlotte Rogers
Director of Case Management
Sharlotte has been employed at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Montgomery since 1992. She has 29 years of nursing experience of which 23 years have been with HealthSouth. She has functioned in the capacity of case manager for 17 years. Sharlotte graduated with a degree in nursing from Wallace College.
Heath Watson
Controller
Heath has been employed at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Montgomery since 2001. Prior to joining HealthSouth, he worked as an accountant in the private sector. Heath received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Auburn University and his master’s degree in business administration at Troy State University.
Shirley Williams
Director of Therapy Operations
Shirley has worked at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Montgomery since 1989 and has been in management positions for the past 14 years. In addition to her duties as the director of therapy operations, she is lymph edema trained and provides treatments at the hospital on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Shirley graduated from Tuskegee University with a degree in physical therapy. Shirley has lived in Montgomery for the past 25 years.
